Every year, the world commemorates the International Women’s Day on 8 March. This day marks a century of “women as agents of change” to improve their lives, communities and health. In Lesotho, all UN agencies are working to improve life for women within their specific mandates and using their different skills and expertise.
Maseru – A study by the World Economic Forum recently listed 134 countries in the world according to how good they are for women to live in. Lesotho was ranked the 8th best country in the world for women to reside in, only presided by Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, New Zealand, Ireland and Denmark. More »
